The dog days of summer are in full swing with their scorching heat and sky high temperatures. Life seems to breezily lull by in August as the normal buzz of activity quiets to a barely audible hum. This slowing down may have caught the blog over the past few weeks, but I have by no means been inactive behind the scenes.
Since returning from the honeymoon two weeks ago, it has been all hands on deck at Betteridge – even recruiting me – as they moved out of their old flagship into a new, more spacious but no less charming and beautiful store down the street in Greenwich. So, instead of typing away about jewelry on my laptop, I have lent my hands to my family’s store, a veritable beehive of activity especially since the move.
That being said, I have plenty of jewelry to write about for the next month at least and will catch everyone up with what is happening in this exciting world of sparkly things. The normal posts will resume, I promise, next week. In the meantime, I have rounded up my favorite estate jewels from the past few weeks. Enjoy!
